Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to state:
(a) the details of the funds sanctioned, allocated and utilized under Khelo
India Scheme in the country, State/UT-wise;
(b) the details of the number of stadiums constructed/under construction in
Uttar Pradesh under the scheme along with the funds allocated for them,
district-wise in Uttar Pradesh including Baghpat;
(c) whether the Government proposes to set up a sports university in Uttar
Pradesh, particularly in Baghpat district; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) and (b) Funds are allocated and released Scheme-wise and not State-
wise in this Ministry. The details of funds allocated and expenditure
incurred under Khelo India Scheme, during the last three years and current
year as under:

National Sports University Act, 2018 to cater to students and athletes from
all States/UTs of the country, including Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh.
