REGARDING EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING PROGRAMME ASKED BY

(a) Department of Youth Affairs has developed a phygital platform
(https://mybharat.gov.in/) as one stop service platform for Youth of
the country. Platform enables the creation of youth profile,
participation in various volunteering and learning activities, getting
mentorship from experts, generate CV, connect with other youth
etc. Several engagement programs including Experiential Learning
Programs (ELPs) are hosted on the platform. The platform also
provides web space to other Ministries, Organizations, Industries,
Youth clubs etc. for conducting various engagement programs. More
than 1.77 crore youth have registered on the platform.
(b) As of August 4, 2025, on the MY Bharat Portal, over 1.45 lakh
events have been created under Experiential Learning Programme
(ELP) and 1.14 lakh events have been created under Volunteering
Opportunities (VO) activities.
(c) Number of youth who benefitted by participation in following
ELPs are:
Jan Aushadhi ELP: 2,408 youth
Post Office ELP: 18,279 youth
Police ELP: 5,441 youth
Health Sector ELP: 6,444 youth
(d) As of now, the MY Bharat Portal has on-boarded 22 Central
Government Ministries and 186 Central and State Government
Departments, collaborating with them to offer ELPs and VOs in their
respective domains.
Through these partnerships, MY Bharat provides a wide array of
experiential and volunteering opportunities for youth. For instance ;
Collaborations with the Department of Posts and Jan Aushadhi
Kendras offer exposure to postal services machinery and
generic medicine sector. Engagements with institutions such as the National Academy
of Broadcasting & Multimedia and various hospitals provide
practical learning in media and health domains.
Collaborations with Ministry of Social Justice and
Empowerment, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health,
Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defence in conduct of
various events and Padyatras.
This collaborative approach ensures that youth can acquire sector-
relevant skills aligned with both career aspirations and civic
responsibility.
(e) As an effort to enhance portal accessibility, Department of Youth
Affairs has signed a MoU with Digital India Corporation under MeitY.
MoU is having following major elements:
i. A fully functional mobile application for Android and IOS;
ii. AI based Smart CV Builder & Digital Profiles;
iii. Integrated dash boards for event creating organisations and
educational institutions to analyse the outcomes of the event;
iv. Advance features of speech to text, voice assisted navigation
and AI chatbots;
v. Location intelligence and Geo-tag for searching opportunities
near you and in any specific area;
vi. Learning modules and quizzes for youth engagement;
vii. Seamless integration to Aadhaar, Digilocker, Bhashini, and
MyGov platform of Government of India etc.
