Women-Led FPOs:
Each FPO's Board of Directors (BoD) has at least one woman member.
As of June 30, 2025, 1663 FPOs have 100 women members, and 949 FPOs have more than 50 women members.
Annexure IV provides a state-wise list of women-centric FPOs.
Commodities Promoted in Andhra Pradesh:
Major primary commodities promoted under FPOs in Andhra Pradesh include paddy, pulses, coconut, turmeric, tomato, mango, chilly, and cashew.
Equity Grants:
5,694 FPOs have availed equity grant assistance under the scheme.
Annexure V provides state-wise details of equity grant assistance. 227 FPOs in Andhra Pradesh have availed equity grant support.
Annexure VI provides district-wise details for Andhra Pradesh.
Support and Monitoring:
Cluster Based Business Organizations (CBBOs) are mandated to provide continuous support to FPOs, including training, capacity building, and facilitating market linkages.
Implementing Agencies (IAs) monitor this support against defined milestones for payment to CBBOs.
Annexure VII provides state-wise details of training and exposure visits conducted for FPOs.

Action Required: CBBOs must conduct regular training programs and facilitate market linkages for FPOs, ensuring they meet the defined milestones to receive payments from Implementing Agencies (IAs).
Implementing Agencies (IAs):
Impact: IAs monitor the performance of CBBOs based on defined milestones to ensure that FPOs receive adequate support.
Action Required: IAs must diligently monitor CBBOs and ensure that they provide the necessary training, capacity building, and market linkages to FPOs, as per the scheme's guidelines.
Government of India:
Impact: The Government can track the progress and impact of the 10,000 FPOs scheme, assessing the number of FPOs registered, beneficiary farmers, and the effectiveness of support mechanisms.
Action Required: The Government should continue to monitor and evaluate the scheme's progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure its objectives are met and that the benefits reach the intended beneficiaries.

(b) the details of the total number of beneficiary farmers under the FPOs since inception of
the scheme, State and year-wise till date;
(c) the details of the total number of women led/women centric FPO’s in the country, State-
wise along with the number of women farmers engaged through FPOs;
(d) whether the Government has mapped the primary products/commodities and value
chains promoted under the FPO’s in the State of Andhra Pradesh, if so, the details thereof
including major crops, livestock, fisheries or other allied sectors;
(e) the details of the matching equity grants, sanctioned and released to the framers/FPOs,
State and district-wise for Andhra Pradesh; and
(f) whether the Government has made any assessment regarding, training, capacity
building and marketing support offered to the FPO by Cluster Based Business Organizations
(CBBOs), if so, the details thereof?

ORGANIZATION.
(a): Under the Central Sector Scheme for “Formation and Promotion of 10,000 Farmer
Producer Organizations (FPOs)”, 10,000 FPOs have been registered. The State-wise
number of registered FPOs is at Annexure-I, and the District-wise number of FPOs
registered in the State of Andhra Pradesh is at Annexure-II.
(b): State-wise number of beneficiary farmers under the scheme is placed at
Annexure-III. MIS portal for the scheme became operational from 2023. Year-wise
number of beneficiary farmers are as follows:-

(c): The Board of Directors (BoD) of each FPO has at least one-woman member. As on
30.06.2025, 1663 FPOs are registered as 100% women members. Additionally, 949 FPOs
have more than 50% women members. The State-wise list of women-centric FPOs is at
Annexure-IV.
(d): In the State of Andhra Pradesh, the major primary commodities promoted under
FPOs include: Paddy, pulses, coconut, turmeric, tomato, mango, chilly, cashew, etc.
(e): As on date, 5,694 FPOs have availed equity grant assistance under the scheme.
The State-wise details are placed at Annexure-V. In Andhra Pradesh, 227 FPOs have
availed equity grant support. The District-wise details for Andhra Pradesh are placed at
Annexure-VI.
(f): Cluster Based Business Organizations (CBBOs) are mandated to provide
continuous support to FPOs, which includes conducting training and capacity building
programs for FPO directors, CEO and members, facilitating market linkages. This is
monitored by the Implementing Agencies (IAs) against defined milestones for payment to
CBBOs. The State-wise details of training and exposure visits conducted for FPOs are at
