(a) the details of the estimated number of small and marginal farmers expected to
benefit from the initial phase of the PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana including input cost
reduction and access to credit since its inception, State and year-wise;
(b) the details of the funds allocated, sanctioned, disbursed and expended under the
aforementioned scheme since its inception and the details of the targets set for the next 5
years along with the roadmap to achieve the same, State and year-wise;
(c) the details of the steps taken by the Government to strengthen agri-infrastructure
under the PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana, including warehouses, cold storage and farm-
gate processing units; and
(d) whether the Government has assessed the long-term benefit from the
implementation of this scheme in terms of enhanced food security and rural prosperity, if
so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d): The Union Cabinet approved the Prime Minister Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi
Yojana (PMDDKY) on 16th July, 2025 for a period of six years, beginning with 2025-26.
The scheme aims to enhance agricultural productivity, increase adoption of crop
diversification and sustainable agricultural practices, augment post-harvest storage at the
panchayat and block levels, improve irrigation facilities and facilitate availability of long-
term and short-term credit. The Scheme will be implemented through convergence of 36
existing schemes across 11 Departments, other State schemes and local partnerships with
the private sector.
The Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana districts’ plans will assess local gaps in agri-
infrastructure including warehouses, cold storage, and farm-gate processing units. The
gaps will be addressed by convergence of appropriate schemes.
