**Summary:**

(a) total number of farmers currently registered with the National Agriculture Market (e-
NAM) platform in the State of Tamil Nadu, particularly in the Dharmapuri Constituency;
(b) the measures undertaken by the Government to promote and enhance the registration
of farmers on the e-NAM platform in Tamil Nadu, with specific initiatives in Dharmapuri
district;
(c) whether the Government has any plans to expand the reach and functionality of the e-
NAM platform to additional mandis and districts in Tamil Nadu, especially in underserved
regions like Dharmapuri; and
(d) if so, the details of such expansion plans including the number of new mandis proposed
to be integrated with e-NAM in Tamil Nadu particularly in Dharmapuri district?

(a): 4,67,186 farmers are registered on the National Agriculture Market (e-NAM)
platform in the State of Tamil Nadu as on 30.06.2025 including 6,313 farmers of
Dharmapuri District.
(b): Under the scheme, two training programs are conducted annually for each e-NAM
mandi to educate farmers and other stakeholders on effectively using the online trading
platform. The platform has been made accessible through both web and mobile
applications. Additionally, tutorial content is disseminated via social media channels to
enhance digital outreach. Since inception, 2,132 awareness sessions have been held
across Tamil Nadu till 30.06.2025 training 1,73,157 farmers including 71 awareness
sessions conducted in Dharmapuri district training 6,717 farmers to encourage them to
register on e-NAM platform.
(c) to (d): Onboarding of Mandis on e-NAM Portal depends on the proposals received
from State Governments. 213 mandis from Tamil Nadu have so far been onboarded with
the e-NAM platform.
