SAGARIKA GHOSE Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to refer to answer to Unstarred Question 2235 given in the Rajya Sabha on the 18th December, 2025 and to state :- (a) the details of funds under Khelo India Scheme that have been allocated to National Centers of Excellence (NCOEs), till date; and (b) the details of funds allocated under the scheme that has been returned to the CFI and the reasons therefor? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF YOUTH AFFAIRS & SPORTS (DR. MANSUKH MANDAVIYA) (a) Funds are allocated Scheme-wise and not Component-wise in this Ministry. The details of funds allocated under Khelo India Scheme since its inception, including for National Centres of Excellence (NCOEs), are as under: (₹ in crore) Year Funds allocated 2016-17 118.10 2017-18 350.00 2018-19 500.09 2019-20 578.00 2020-21 328.77 2021-22 869.00 2022-23 600.00 2023-24 880.00 2024-25 746.54 2025-26 700.00 (b) No funds under the Khelo India Scheme have been returned to the CFI. ***** Page 1 of 1
