SHRI EATALA RAJENDER: SHRI CHAMALA KIRAN KUMAR REDDY: Will the Minister of TOURISM be pleased to state: (a) whether the State Government of Telangana has requested the Union Government for releasing the balance amount of Rs.26.29 crore to facilitate the timely completion of the project ‘Development of Qutub Shahi Heritage Park – Paigah Tombs – Hayat Bakshi Mosque – Raymonds Tomb’ sanctioned under SWADESH Darshan Scheme 2.0 (SDS 2.0) in Hyderabad; and (b) if so, the details thereof, along with action taken thereon? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF TOURISM (SHRI GAJENDRA SINGH SHEKHAWAT) (a) & (b): Ministry of Tourism sanctioned the project “Development of Qutub Shahi Heritage Park, Paigah Tombs, Hayat Bakshi Mosque and Raymond's Tomb” in the year 2017-18 under Heritage Circuit of Swadesh Darshan Scheme with the sanctioned cost of Rs.96.90 Crore. An amount of Rs.70.61 Crore is released and the same has been utilized by the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC), being the implementing agency. Yes, the Government of Telangana has represented to the Ministry of Tourism for release of the balance amount of ₹26.29 crore for the project "Development of Qutub Shahi Heritage Park – Paigah Tombs – Hayat Bakshi Mosque – Raymond's Tomb" sanctioned under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme. Whereas, due to ongoing title dispute of the land in question, the matter remain sub-judice, till date. ******
