Will the Minister of LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT be pleased to
state:
(a)the total number of formal jobs created in the country as reflected in EPFO net payroll addition from September 2017 till October 2025, year-wise;
(b)the share of Telangana in these additions; and
(c)whether the Government proposes any State-specific initiatives to further accelerate formal job creation in Telangana, given its rapid growth in the pharma, IT, and defence manufacturing sectors? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT (SUSHRI SHOBHA KARANDLAJE)

The data may be read with the following constraints • Net Payroll = New Subscribers + Rejoinees - Exited Members • EPFO payroll data is provisional as updation of employee’s records is a continuous process and gets updated in subsequent month/s.
(c): Government of India has launched an employment linked central sector scheme i.e. Pradhan Mantri viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana. The Scheme envisages to play a pivotal role in driving job creation for the youth, enhancing employability along with formalization of workforce. The scheme has a registration period of two years from 01.08.2025 to 31.07.2027 and a budgetary outlay of ₹ 99,446 Crore for the period FY 2025-26 to FY 2031-32.
