(a)to(d): Established under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), All
India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur has 1098 operational beds. In the year
2024-25, the Institute treated 9,64,671 patients in OPD (Out Patient Department) and 50,459
patients in the IPD (In patient Department) .During the same period the Institute provided
Emergency Care to 47,073 patients and out of these 6006 patients were transferred in light of
clinical assessment, bed availability, and the need for specialized interventions in accordance
with standard medicalprotocols prioritizingpatientsafety andensuring continuity of care.
(e) and (f): Creation of posts for new facilities is a continuous process. Recently
establishment of 150 bedded Critical Care Hospital Block under Pradhan Mantri Ayushman
Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) scheme and setting up of a 29 bedded
Burn unit hasbeen approvedfor AIIMS Raipur.
