Will the Minister of LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT be pleased to
state:
(a)whether the Government is aware that the employees of Bharat
Dynamics Limited (BDL) have submitted applications and joint
options for pension on higher wages pursuant to the Hon’ble
Supreme Court’s judgment;
(b)if so, the details of the number of such applications received from
BDL employees and the status of their processing by the concerned
Regional Provident Fund Commissioner (RPFC) office;
(c)whether it is true that the BDL Provident Fund Trust and RPFC,
Barkatpura, have raised clarificatory queries delaying the
processing of joint options;
(d)if so, the details thereof; and
(e)whether the Government has taken any steps to expedite the
resolution of such queries and ensure time-bound implementation
of the higher pension scheme for employees of exempted
establishments like BDL and if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (e): Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has submitted 3,048
applications for pension on higher wages. EPFO has processed and
disposed off these applications as per the directions of the Hon’ble
Supreme Court in its judgement dated 04.11.2022.
In order to ensure prompt disposal of applications for
pension on higher wages, directions and clarifications have been
issued from time-to-time.
