(a) the details regarding number of the individuals enrolled as fellows
under the Scheme for Human Resource Development in Sports during
the last three years, year, State and district-wise for Andhra Pradesh;
(b) the details regarding number of the seminars, workshops, and
conferences organized under the said scheme in the last three years,
State/country-wise; and
(c) the details regarding number of fellows or researchers funded
under the said scheme for undertaking research projects or
publishing academic or literary works related to sports, during the

THE MINISTER OF YOUTH AFFAIRS & SPORTS

(a) to (c) Human Resource Development in Sports Scheme is a
demand-driven scheme and aims to provide financial assistance to
athletes, coaches, technical officials, officials , students/researchers
etc. for upgradation of their skills and knowledge. The Ministry
allocates funds and resources from time to time for implementation
of the Scheme on the basis of the proposals received.
Two individuals were enrolled as fellows under the Scheme
for Human Resource Development in Sports during the last threeyears. A total of Forty seven seminars, workshops, and conferences
were organized/ funded for participation under the Scheme during the
last three years. Twelve fellows or researchers were funded under
the scheme for undertaking research projects or publishing academic
or literary works related to sports, during the last three years.
The year-wise/state-wise/country-wise (where applicable) detail of
the above is as per the annexure.
