Parliament Question: Implementation of AB-PMJAY in Amalapuram

SHRIG M HARISH BALAYOGI: Will the Minister of HEALTHAND FAMILYWELFAREbe pleased tostate: (a) the details of hospitals empanelled under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan ArogyaYojana(AB-PMJAY)inAmalapuram ParliamentaryConstituency ofAndhraPradesh, indicatingGovernment and private hospitals separately; (b) the numberof Ayushman Cards issued, beneficiaries covered, hospital admissions, claims submitted, claims settled and amount disbursed under the Scheme during the last three years inthe constituency, year-wise; (c) the details of medical specialties and treatment packages available at the empanelled hospitals inthe constituency; (d) the number of hospitals empanelled, newly added, suspended and de-empanelled under the Schemeduring the last three yearsinthe constituencyalongwith the reasons therefor; (e) the details of beneficiary awareness, Ayushman Card enrolment and outreach activities undertakeninthe constituency during the said period; and (f) the steps taken or proposed to be taken by the Government to strengthen the network of empanelled hospitals, improve healthcare access and expand coverage under AB-PMJAY in the said constituency? ANSWER THE MINISTER OFSTATEIN THE MINISTRYOFHEALTHAND FAMILYWELFARE (SHRIPRATAPRAOJADHAV) (a) to (f): A total of 59 hospitals are empanelled under Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in the Amalapuram Parliamentary Constituency of Andhra Pradesh, of which 11 are private hospitals and 48 are public hospitals. During the last three years, 4 new hospitals have been empanelled in the Amalapuram constituency. Further, no hospital hasbeensuspended or de-empanelled during the said period. Further, several measures have been undertaken to strengthen the network of empanelled hospitals, improve access to quality healthcare services, and expand coverage under AB-PMJAYintheAmalapuramconstituency.Themajorinitiativesundertakenareasfollows:  Regular monitoringand qualityassessment of empanelled network hospitals toensure compliancewiththeprescribedstandardsandtreatmentprotocols.  Capacity building and periodic training programmes for hospital staff, District Coordinators, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective implementation of AB-PMJAY.  Strengthening beneficiary awareness through Information, Education and Communication (IEC) activities, enrolment drives, health camps, and outreach programmestoincreaseAyushmancardgenerationandutilisation.  Regular review meetings with district authorities, network hospitals, and other stakeholders to identify implementation challenges and take corrective measures for improvinghealthcareaccessandschemeperformance. *****
