Rajesh Naranbhai Chudasama: Will the Minister of TRIBAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) the estimated number of tribal beneficiaries under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) across various States and Union Territories; and (b) whether any mechanism has been put in place for monitoring and evaluating the impact of DAJGUA on social infrastructure, health, education and livelihood in tribal areas; and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR TRIBAL AFFAIRS (SHRI DURGADAS UIKEY) (a) The number of tribal beneficiaries eligible to receive benefits under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) across various States and Union Territories is at Annexure I. (b): Under Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA), the Ministry of Tribal Affairs have regular Inter – Ministerial and coordination meetings with line ministries under DAJGUA, to ensure effective implementation of the scheme. Further, regular review meetings are also held with respective States/ Districts Authority. Provision of PMU has also been made for effective monitoring and implementation of the scheme. Furthermore, through the initiatives Adi KarmaYogi Abhiyan, the Ministry has been actively encouraging community engagement and involvement also.
