IMPLEMENTATION OF PM KRISHI SINCHAYEE YOJANA 2.0, IN PRAKSAM
274. SHRI YERRAM VENKATA SUBBA REDDY:
Will the Minister of Jal Shakti be pleased to state:
(a) whether it is a fact that 8 projects in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh have been approved in
2022 under the Watershed Development Component of PM Krishi Sinchayee Yojana 2.0;
(b) whether it is also a fact that check dams/check walls, farm pond/drought pond, Nalla Bund,
Percolation tanks, etc., have been created under the above projects;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) details of funds sanctioned and released for the above projects and anticipated time by when the
above projects are to be completed and details of the number of small, marginal and landless farmers
under the above projects?
ANSWER

(a) Yes. 8 projects in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh have been approved in FY 2021-22 under
the Watershed Development Component of PM Krishi Sinchayee Yojana 2.0 (WDC-PMKSY 2.0)
(b) & (c) Yes. The project-wise details of check dams, farm pond/dugout pond, Nallah Bund and
Percolation tanks, constructed under WDC-PMKSY 2.0 projects in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh
annexed as Annexure-I.
(d) The approved period for implementation of WDC-PMKSY 2.0 projects is upto March, 2026.
Further, the details of funds sanctioned and released & details of the number of small, marginal and
landless farmers benefited are annexed as Annexure-II and Annexure-III respectively.
