SHRI NAVASKANI K: SHRI C N ANNADURAI: SHRI SELVAM G: Will the Minister of AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE कृ(cid:874)ष एवं (cid:873)कसान क(cid:227)याण म(cid:287)ं ी be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government is aware that the low-agricultural-production districts of Tamil Nadu have been included under the Pradhan Mantri Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (PM-DDKY) with the objective of enhancing productivity and improving farmers’ income; (b) the details of the initiatives being undertaken under PM-DDKY in these districts, including the integration of thirty six schemes from eleven Central Ministries for comprehensive farmer support; (c) whether the Government has set any targets for increasing crop yield, irrigation coverage, and diversification in these districts; and (d) if so, the details thereof and the steps being taken to ensure effective convergence, timely delivery of benefits, and measurable improvement in farmers’ livelihoods under PM- DDKY in Tamil Nadu? The Scheme aims to (1) enhance agricultural productivity, (2) increase adoption of crop diversification and sustainable agricultural practices, (3) augment post-harvest storage at the panchayat and block levels, (4) improve irrigation facilities, and (5) facilitate availability of long-term and short-term credit.
