GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRYOF PANCHAYATIRAJ LOK SABHA UNSTARREDQUESTION NO. 2892 ANSWEREDON 10.03.2026 IMPLEMENTATION OFTHE SVAMITVASCHEME †2892.SHRITANGELLAUDAYSRINIVAS: Will the Minister of PANCHAYATIRAJ be pleased to state: (a) the status of implementation of the SVAMITVA Scheme in Andhra Pradesh since its inception, including the number of villages covered, drone surveys completed and property cardsissued; (b) the detailsof funds requested, allocated andreleasedunderthe Schemeto Andhra Pradesh during the last five years, year-wise; (c) the funds provided to the Survey of India for Large Scale Mapping (LSM) using drones and for establishing Continuous Operating Reference Stations (CORS) in Andhra Pradesh, alongwith district-wise details of CORS established andoutcomesachieved;and (d) whether it is a fact that no property cards have been issued in Andhra Pradesh despite completionof drone surveys andif so, the reasons for the delayandthe correctivesteps being taken,during the last five years? ANSWER MINISTER OF PANCHAYATI RAJ (SHRIRAJIVRANJAN SINGH ALIAS LALAN SINGH) (a) Drone flying is completed in all 13,321 notified villages under SVAMITVA Scheme in the State of Andhra Pradesh. The State has prepared 5.3 lakh property cards under SVAMITVASchemein1067villages. (b) In the Financial Year 2021-22, the state of Andhra Pradesh requested Rs 15 lakh for Information, Education, and Communication(IEC) activities and Rs. 11.7 lakhs for establishment of State Programme Management Unit (SPMU) under SVAMITVA scheme. Accordingly, as requested by the State, Rs. 26.7 lakhs (Rs. 15 lakhs + Rs. 11.7 lakhs) were released by the Ministry for IEC and SPMU components, respectively. Thereafter, the State hasnot requested anyfunds. (c) For Large Scale Mapping under SVAMITVAScheme, Rs 85.80 lakhs have been provided to Survey of India (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana GDC).
