Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILYWELFARE be pleasedtostate:
(a) whether the U-WIN digital platform for universal immunization has been implemented in
Haryana;
(b) the impactof thisplatform ontrackingimmunizationcoverage for women and children;
(c)the steps takentoaddress digital accessgapsinrural andremote areas; and
(d) whether Government planstointegrate U-WIN with othernationaldigitalhealthplatforms?
ANSWER
THE MINISTER OFSTATE IN THE MINISTRYOFHEALTH ANDFAMILYWELFARE
(SMT.ANUPRIYAPATEL)
(a) U-WIN digital platform for universal immunization is implemented nationwide including
Haryana.
(b) U-WIN provides digital records, line-listing of pregnant women and children due for
vaccination. These beneficiaries (pregnant women and children) are digitally tracked on
the U-WIN portal for vaccination. SMS alerts are sent prior to three days of vaccination
for reminding the beneficiariesabout theirupcomingdue dose.
(c) In rural and remote areas with poor or no internet connectivity vaccination can be done in
U-WIN digital platform through offlinemode.
(d) To improve health service delivery U-WIN is presently integrated with Ayushman Bharat
Digital Mission (ABDM),POSHANtracker online andSAFEVAConline platforms.
