Will the Minister of JAL SHAKTI be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Finna Singh Irrigation Project in Nurpur, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh is being considered
for inclusion under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY) and if so, the details thereof;
and
(b) the funds allocated by the Union Government for the said project?

(a) The Phina Singh Multipurpose Project benefiting the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh has been
included under the PMKSY-AIBP in August, 2024 with eligible central assistance up to Rs. 282.47 crore.
(b) A mother sanction for financial year 2024-25 towards central assistance up to Rs. 67.50 crore for the
Phina Singh Multipurpose Project was issued in February, 2025 against which central assistance of Rs.
11.99 crore only could be utilised by Government of Himachal Pradesh. Mother sanction has been issued
for utilization of balance Rs. 55.51 crore towards central assistance in the financial year 2025-26.
