INDUSTRIAL TRIBUNAL-CUM-LABOUR COURTS
1530. # DR. BHIM SINGH:
Will the Minister of Labour and Employment be pleased to state:
(a)the number of complaints/cases received in the Central
Government Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Courts from the year
2023 till date, the number of cases disposed of along with the
number of cases still pending; and
(b) the concrete steps taken by Government for expeditious disposal
of pending cases related to Bihar and the status of vacancies in
Tribunals along with condition of infrastructure therein?
ANSWER

(a): Number of cases received from 01.01.2023 till 31.01.2026 is
17,973.
Number of cases disposed from 01.01.2023 till 31.01.2026 is
15,274.
(b): The cases related to Bihar are dealt by the Central Government
Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court (CGIT-cum-LC) No. 1, Dhanbad
and CGIT-cum-LC No. 2, Dhanbad which are functioning from the
building of O/o DGMS, Dhanbad and O/o Dy. CLC(C), Dhanbad
respectively. For expeditious disposal of the pending cases, review
is done on regular basis including holding of special campaigns for
disposal of pending cases.
The status of vacancies in these tribunals is attached as
Annexure-I.
