INSPECTION OF FUEL CONTROL SWITCH

Will the Minister of CIVIL AVIATION
be pleased to state:-
(a) whether it is a fact that the Government has directed all airline operators
to complete inspection of the locking mechanism of the fuel control switch on
their fleet and if so, the details thereof; and;
(b) whether the airline operators have complied with these directives and if so,
the details thereof?

(a) & (b): Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued an order
dated 14th July 2025 to all applicable operators to carry out the inspection of
the locking mechanism of the fuel control switch as per Special Airworthiness
Information Bulletin NM-18-33 on their fleet.
Airlines have inspected the aircraft and complied with the directions.
