(a) whether the Government proposes to integrate new Mandis from Himachal Pradesh
under the National Agriculture Market (e-NAM) scheme;
(b) if so, the total number of such Mandis approved by the Government to be integrated
with the e-NAM platform; and
(c) whether any funds have been allocated to the Government of Himachal Pradesh for
integrating these Mandis under the said scheme, if so, the details thereof?

(a): Agricultural Marketing is State subject and Agricultural Produce Market
Committees (APMCs) are regulated under respective State Agricultural Produce Market
Committee Act of the State. National Agriculture Market (e-NAM) is a demand-driven
scheme. Integration of mandis under e-NAM platform is based on the proposals received
from State Governments/Union Territories, reflecting their demand and readiness.
(b): Based on the proposals received from Government of Himachal Pradesh, 38
mandis of Himachal Pradesh have been integrated with e-NAM platform. List of these
mandis is at Annexure.
(c): Government provides grant @Rs.75.00 lakh per mandi to the States for
strengthening marketing, auxiliary, software infrastructures and other facilities like quality
assaying lab, weighing facility, computer, printer, cleaning, grading, packaging facilities
and compost unit, etc. for integration with e-NAM portal.
As on 30th June, 2025, Rs.1455.00 lakhs have been released to State of Himachal
