GANAPATHY RAJKUMAR P: Will the Minister of RAILWAYS be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government has any proposal to introduce a new train from Rameswaram to Mangaluru Junction bi-weekly via Palakkad-Podanur- Pollachi overnight express which is a very long pending demand of the people of these areas and the same has been proposed in IRTTC (Inter Railway Time Table Conference) meeting held in 2018 by Southern Railway; (b) if so, the details thereof; and (c) if not, the reasons thereof including the timeline by when the said proposal likely to be implemented?
