SHRI BRIJMOHAN AGRAWAL: WILL THE MINISTER OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS BE PLEASED TO STATE: (a) whether the Government is aware that the services of M/s Colliers International India Property Services Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai were terminated on account of allegations of poor performance or irregularities in national projects, particularly in the Farakka-Raiganj project of NHAI; (b) if so, whether the details have been reflected in the corporate profile, annual reports of the company or disclosure/compliance documents available on the MCA portal; (c) the number of Government works allotted to the above company from 2014 to March 2025, State-wise; and (d) whether the Government has initiated any review of monitoring, observation or compliance of the working of the company in view of the complaints received/lodged and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS; MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS (SHRI HARSH MALHOTRA) (a) & (b) Services of M/s Colliers International (India) Property Services Pvt. Ltd. as a valuer of structures related to LA for Farakka – Raiganj section of NH-12 was terminated due to deficiency in services vide NHAI letter no. 588 dated 10.04.2015 with forfeiture of the performance security due to deficiency in service. The said firm was also debarred for any on- going / future projects of NHAI in the State of West Bengal in January, 2018. Further, on examination of three years Directors’ Report for the FY 2017-2018 to 2019-2020 no such instance has been disclosed / reported in the Board’s Report to the members of the company. (c) & (d) Under jurisdiction of NHAI, no work was allotted to M/s Colliers International (India) Property Services Pvt. Ltd. from 2014 to March 2025. Further, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has ordered an Inspection under section 206(5) of the Companies Act, 2013 on 30.03.2024 which is underway. *****
