Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY). The district-wise

As on 31.10.2025, 433 public and 669 private hospitals are empanelled under the scheme in
the State of Bihar. The detailed list of these facilities can be accessed from the following

Hospital empanelment is a continuous process and is undertaken based on the requirements
and availability of healthcare providers (meeting PMJAY criteria) within a given State/UT.
Further, AB-PMJAY ensures quality treatment for its beneficiaries by implementing various
incentives for public and private healthcare providers. In this regard, an additional incentive
of 5% for NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers)
Bronze Quality Certification, 10% for NABH Entry Level, 15% for NABH full accreditation
and 15% for National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS), is provided over and above the
package rate to empanelled hospitals. Further, empanelled hospitals of Aspirational Districts
are also providedadditional incentiveof 10% overandabove the packagerate.
