Will the MINISTER OF CULTURE be pleased to state:
(a) the details of applications received, approved and funds sanctioned under the various
components of the Kala Sanskriti Vikas Yojana (KSVY) during the last three years,
State/UT-wise, particularly for district-wise in Andhra Pradesh, including Palnadu and
Anantapur;
(b) the details of beneficiaries covered under the major sub-schemes of KSVY, namely
Guru-Shishya Parampara (Repertory Grant), Cultural Function and Production Grant Scheme
(CFPGS), Financial Assistance to Cultural Organizations with National Presence,
Senior/Junior Fellowships, Scholarships to Young Artists and Tagore National Fellowship, in
Andhra Pradesh;
(c) whether any cultural organisations, artists, researchers or institutions from Palnadu
andAnantapur districts have been sanctioned assistance under these components; and
(d) the details of the steps taken/being taken to encourage greater participation of artists and
cultural institutions from Andhra Pradesh, particularly rural districts such as Palnadu
andAnantapur under the said scheme?

(a) The Ministry of Culture is implementing Kala Sanskriti Vikas Yojana (KSVY) under
which financial assistance is provided to eligible cultural organizations, artists, researchers,
institutionsetc. across the country, including the state of Andhra Pradesh. Further, being a
Central Sector Scheme, no state-wise/ district-wise funds are allocated/ sanctioned under
KSVY. Accordingly, the details of applications received, approved and funds sanctioned
during the last three financial years is given at Annexure.
(b) and (c) The number of beneficiaries, including cultural organizations, artists,
researchers or institutions benefitted, across the country including the State of Andhra
Pradesh, under the major sub-schemes of KSVY, namely Guru-Shishya Parampara
(Repertory Grant), Cultural Function and Production Grant Scheme (CFPGS), Financial
Assistance to Cultural Organizations with National Presence, Senior/Junior Fellowships,Scholarships to Young Artists and Tagore National Fellowship, during last financial year i.e.
2025-26 is as under:

(d) To encourage greater participation of artists and cultural institutions across the country,
including the state of Andhra Pradesh,the Ministry of Culture has been making continuous
efforts to disseminate the information regarding its schemes through advertisements in
newspapers, Ministry’s website, social media platforms, Zonal Culture Centers and
Akademies. Further, the Ministry through its Zonal Culture Centres and Akademies provide a
platform to artists by engaging them in various cultural programmes, festivals, workshops
and exhibitions organized across the country including the State of Andhra Pradesh. These
engagements enable artists to showcase their talent, gain wider exposure and preserve and
promote traditional art forms. The artists are also provided honorarium, TA/DA, boarding
and lodging, local transport etc. which help supplement their income and encourage them to
pursue their art as a sustainable livelihood, thereby contributing to their self-reliance.Annexure
