KHELO INDIA SCHEME IN TAMIL NADU

Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to state :-
(a) the number of Khelo India Centres (KICs) and Khelo India State Centres of Excellence
(KISCEs) approved and operational in Tamil Nadu;
(b) the details of project proposal amount, funds allocated and amount released State-wise since
launch of the Khelo India scheme;
(c) the number of projects that have been undertaken in the State under Khelo India Scheme during
the last three years;
(d) the number of athletes, including SC/ST/OBC, women and Persons with Disabilities, currently
being trained under Khelo India in the State; and
(e) whether Government proposes to sanction additional centres or expand the scheme in the State?

(a) The number of approved and operational Khelo India Centres (KIC) and Khelo India State
Centres of Excellence (KISCE) across the country, including in the State of Tamil Nadu, are
available in the public domain on the dashboard of this Ministry at
https://dashboard.kheloindia.gov.in.
(b) Funds are allocated and released Scheme-wise and not State-wise in this Ministry. The details of
funds allocated and expenditure incurred under Khelo India Scheme, since its inception across the
country, including in the State of Tamil Nadu, are as under:

Ministry at https://mdsd.kheloindia.gov.in.
(d) The number of Khelo India Athletes, including SC/ST/OBC, women and Persons with
Disabilities, under Khelo India Scheme across the country, including in the State of Tamil Nadu, are
available in the public domain on the dashboard of the Ministry at
https://dashboard.kheloindia.gov.in.
(e) There is no proposal under consideration in this Ministry to sanction additional centres or
expand the scheme in the State of Tamil Nadu.
