SHRI SATPAL BRAHAMCHARI: SHRI JAI PARKASH: Will the Minister of AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE कृ िष एवं िकसान क(cid:670)ाण मं(cid:361)ी be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government has implemented any scheme to strengthen the effective marketing and storage infrastructure for agricultural produce for farmers in Hisar and Sonipat Lok Sabha Constituencies of Haryana; (b) if so, the number of warehouses, cold storages or Kisan Mandis which have been established so far in Hisar and Sonipat Lok Sabha Constituencies and the number of farmers benefitted from these facilities; (c) whether the Government has provided any financial assistance for increasing storage capacity through Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) or cooperative societies; and (d) if not, whether any plan is proposed to develop modern marketing and storage infrastructure in Hisar, Sonipat and Jind region to increase the income of farmers and prevent crop wastage in future and the details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE कृ िष एवं िकसान क(cid:670)ाण रा(cid:475) मं(cid:361)ी (SHRI RAMNATH THAKUR) (a) to (d): Government is implementing the following schemes in the country including in the State of Haryana to strengthen the effective marketing and storage infrastructure for agricultural produce: (i) Agricultural Marketing Infrastructure (AMI) sub-scheme under Integrated Scheme for Agricultural Marketing (ISAM): Details of Storage Projects and other than Storage Projects sanctioned in districts falling in Hisar and Sonipat Lok Sabha Constituency are given in Annexure-I. (ii) Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) Scheme: Under this scheme assistance is provided for creation of post-harvest infrastructure and viable farming assets through interest subvention and credit guarantee support. Details of projects sanctioned under this Scheme in districts falling in Hisar and Sonipat Constituencies are given in Annexure-I. (iii) Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture: Under this scheme financial assistance is provided for various horticulture activities including construction/ expansion/modernization of cold storage capacity upto 5000MT. Under this Scheme 76 cold storage projects with 252007 MT capacity have been sanctioned to the State of Haryana for which financial assistance of Rs.90.62 Crore has been sanctioned. District wise data is not maintained centrally.
