ANSWER THE MINISTER OFSTATE IN THE MINISTRYOFHEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE (SMT. ANUPRIYAPATEL) (a):Asperthe Special Bulletin on Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR), 2020-22 released by the Registrar General of India, which provides MMR at State level, the MMR of Assam is 125 per lakh live births. The share of institutional deliveries at State/UT level including the State of Assam asperthe NFHS-5(2019-21), isplacedat Annexure I. (b): The details of the funds approved under NHM for Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) in Assam, in the last five years are placed at AnnexureII. As per the information received from the state of Assam, the year-wise data of tea garden workers who have availed JSY benefits andthe amountof funds disbursed tothem isnot maintainedseparately. (c): Under Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, all the target age groups, including pregnant and lactating women and women of reproductive age group are covered across all the States andUTs, including all tea garden areas of Assam. As per the Health Management Information System (HMIS), 95% of pregnant women in Assam have been provided with 180 Red Iron andFolicAcid (IFA) tabletsinFY2024-25. Asperthe informationreceivedfrom the Stateof Assam, the separate coverage data for female tea garden workers and pregnant tea garden workers isnot maintained. (d): The Government assesses the implementation of central schemes under National Health Mission (NHM) by undertaking periodic Regional/State level review meetings, field visits in various States/UTs and Common Review Missions (CRMs).
