However, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India received a proposal
from Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University torevisit the Union Cabinet decision dated25.08.2005
regarding handing over the University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) to Government of
National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi. Government of National Capital Territory (NCT) of
Delhi vide Order dated 18.03.2025 has taken over the UCMS. Therefore, University College of
