Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to state:
(a) the number of youth registered on Mera Bharat Portal in Dahod
district;
(b) the types of pilot programmes organised at Jan Aushadhi Kendras,
post offices and hospitals;
(c) whether the 'Viksit Bharat Padyatra' has been organised in Dahod;
and
(d) the participation of youth therein and social impact thereof?

(a) A total of 11,811 youth from Dahod district in Gujarat have
registered on the Mera Yuva Bharat portal.
(b) Following pilot programmes were conducted across the country
including Dahod district in the following area:
Jan Aushadhi Kendras: A total of 1,207 Experiential Learning
Programmes (ELPs) were created. Youth were engaged in
promoting generic medicines, understanding supply chain
processes, maintaining accounts, etc. Post Offices: 1.38 lakh ELPs were created across the country
by the Department of Posts. Youth learned about post offices
services by getting involved in tasks such as enrolling
customers in savings accounts, understanding Dak & Parcel
system, getting involved in Dak-Chaupals, managing
documents, and helping with customer queries.
Hospitals: 551 ELPs were conducted in the health sector,
involving 6,444 youth volunteers. Their tasks included helping
patients in OPDs, manning help desks, assisting in health
insurance work, supporting use of the ABHA app, data entry,
and record management.
(c) The Viksit Bharat Constitution Day Padyatra was organised in
Dahod on 26 November 2024 with participation of 158 youth.
(d) So far, 3.81 Lakh youth have participated in 12 padyatras across
the country including Dahod. The padyatras encouraged local youth
to remember freedom fighters and local role models, helping build
awareness and participation at the community level.
