RABINDRA NARAYAN BEHERA: Will the Minister of MINES be pleased to state: (a) the list of mines in the Jajpur district in the State of Odisha; (b) the details of the type of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR ) activities done by them; (c) the details of expenditure, project wise; and (d) the details of the future provision and budget for the same? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF COAL AND MINES (SHRI G. KISHAN REDDY) (a): There are ten (10) working Mines of major minerals in Jajpur district of Odisha, the details of which are enclosed as Annexure-I. (b) & (c): As per the information provided by Ministry of Corporate Affairs, all data related to CSR filed by companies in MCA21 registry, including project-wise, is available in public domain and can be accessed at www.csr.gov.in. As per the registry, the details of development sector-wise CSR expenditure in Jajpur district of Odisha for the years from FY 2021-22 to FY 2023-24 are enclosed as Annexure-II. (d): As per the information provided by Ministry of Corporate Affairs, CSR is a Board driven process and the Board of the company is empowered to plan, decide, execute and monitor CSR activities of the company based on the recommendation of its CSR Committee.
