Parliament Question: MoU signed between AIIMS and CAPF

SHRIRAMVIR SINGH BIDHURI: Will theMinisterof HEALTH AND FAMILYWELFAREbepleasedto state: (a) whether a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the year 2024 between the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and the Central Armed PoliceForces(CAPF) for the establishment of anAIIMS centre at Maidan Garhi; (b) if so, the detailsof the said MoU; and (c) the timeline by which the expansion plan for AIIMS under the said MoU is likely to be initiated? ANSWER THE MINISTER OFSTATE IN THE MINISTRYOFHEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE (SHRIPRATAPRAOJADHAV) (a) to (c): A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed between All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and the Central Armed Police Forces Institute of Medical Sciences (CAPFIMS) on 8th March, 2024 for operationalization of CAPFIMS as a campus of AIIMS, New Delhi. As per the MoA, AIIMS CAPFIMS campus shall function as anintegralpart of AIIMS, New Delhi to provide medicaleducationandhealthcare services of high standard in accordance with the Act, Rules and Regulations applicable to AIIMS, New Delhi. ******
