SHRI RADHAKRISHNA: Will the Minister of AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE कृ(cid:874)ष और (cid:873)कसान क(cid:227)याण मं(cid:287)ी be pleased to state: (a) the quantity of tur (arhar) procured at Minimum Support Price from farmers in Kalaburagi district and Karnataka during the last five Kharif marketing seasons, season- wise; (b) the number of farmers benefited and the total amount disbursed through NAFED/NCCF procurement portals during the said period; (c) the number and location of procurement centres operational in Kalaburagi district during the current season; and (d) whether the Government proposes to extend the 100% MSP procurement guarantee for tur under the Mission for Aatmanirbharta in Pulses beyond the initial four-year period? The location-wise details are placed at Annexure. For Kharif 2026, no proposal for procurement has been received from the state Government. (d) : Government has launched Mission for Aatmanirbharta in Pulses till 2030-31, to reduce import dependence and achieve self-sufficiency in pulses. To encourage domestic production of pulses, the Government is undertaking procurement of Tur, Urad and Masur under the PM-AASHA Scheme on the request of State Government from pre-registered farmers as much as offered by them through Central Nodal Agencies, namely the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd.
