SANJAY JAISWAL: SHRI BIBHU PRASAD TARAI: SHRI JANARDAN MISHRA: Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to state: (a) the conceptual framework behind the Youth for 'Viksit Bharat' Conference and the key objectives aimed to be achieved through this event organized on 6th June 2026; (b) the overall level of participation in the conference, including the total number of MY Bharat and National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers; Page 1 of 3(c) the various categories under which young achievers were felicitated during the conference and the criteria adopted for their selection; (d) the outcomes generated from the organisation of the Youth for 'Viksit Bharat' Conference and the manner in which they are expected to contribute towards building an empowered Amrit Peedhi; and (e) whether initiatives has been taken by the Government in the State of Odisha particularly in the Jagatsinghpur Lok Sabha Constituency in this regard and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF YOUTH AFFAIRS & SPORTS [DR. MANSUKH MANDAVIYA] (a) The Youth for Viksit Bharat Conclave, organized on 6th June 2026, was conceived as a platform to inspire, recognize, and engage youth in the national vision of Viksit Bharat. The Conclave aimed to create awareness about the MY Bharat platform and its opportunities, encourage greater participation in nation-building initiatives, and facilitate interaction with distinguished leaders and achievers from diverse fields. Participants were sensitized about the MY Bharat portal and its various opportunities relating to volunteering, experiential learning, and youth engagement. The interaction with eminent personalities provided valuable insights, inspiration, and guidance for their personal and professional development, while strengthening their commitment to nation- building. (b) More than 6,000 youth, including MY Bharat and MY Bharat–NSS volunteers from across the Delhi NCR region, participated in the Youth for Viksit Bharat Conclave. The event was graced by the Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi, the youngest Member of Parliament, Ms. Maithili Thakur, eminent entrepreneurs, sportspersons and other distinguished personalities, who shared their experiences and inspired the youth to contribute towards the vision of Viksit Bharat. (c) Young achievers were felicitated in the categories of sports, entrepreneurship, digital content creation and academic Page 2 of 3excellence. Selection was based on excellence and outstanding contributions in the respective fields. (d) The Conclave recognized exemplary youth contributions, strengthened youth engagement, enhanced the visibility of MY Bharat initiatives and inspired greater participation in nation- building, thereby contributing towards building an empowered Amrit Peedhi. (e) While the Youth for Viksit Bharat Conclave was not organized in the State of Odisha, MY Bharat is implementing various youth development initiatives in the across the country including the Jagatsinghpur Lok Sabha Constituency of Odisha under its Annual Action Plan, including the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament (VBYP), District-level Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) Quiz, Future Young Leaders Bootcamp, Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Programme and other youth engagement activities. These initiatives aim to foster leadership, civic responsibility, democratic participation, volunteerism and active community engagement among youth, thereby contributing towards the vision of Viksit Bharat. ***** Page 3 of 3
