Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to state:
(a) the number of participants recorded by MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 in its national-
level quiz this year;
(b) the details of interactions between State/UT winners and the Prime Minister held on
the 15th March, 2026;
(c) whether the Ministry has expanded the MY Bharat portal registrations to include over
5 crore Indian youth;
(d) if so, the details thereof; and
(e) how the "Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament" initiative (March 2026) has influenced the
latest youth-centric policy decisions of the Ministry?
ANSWER

(a) Approximately 12 Lakh participations have been recorded in the National Level Quiz
under the MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 conducted from 2nd February 2026 to 22nd
February 2026.
(b) Interaction between State/ UT winners of MY Bharat Quest 2026 and Hon’ble Prime
Minister has not taken place yet.
(c) & (d) As on date the total registration on the MY Bharat portal is over 2.15 crore.
Page 1 of 2(e) The “Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament” (VBYP), 2026 has been designed as a
structured consultative platform to capture youth perspectives on key national priorities
and to strengthen their engagement with policy discourse. It provides for deliberations at
district, state and national levels on themes aligned with priority sectors such as
governance, economic development, human capital and inclusive growth. The initiative
enables systematic articulation and documentation of youth views through debates and
discussions, including on topics such as democratic values and fiscal priorities, which are
relevant to ongoing policy considerations.
