SHRI LAHAR SINGH SIROYA: SHRI SADANAND MHALU SHET TANAVADE: SHRI MAYANKKUMAR NAYAK: SHRI DEEPAK PRAKASH: SHRI SUBHASH BARALA: Will the MINISTER OF PARLIAMENTARY AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) the extent of participation under each mode of participation since the launch of National Youth Parliament Scheme 2.0, including the number of Youth Parliament Sittings conducted and citizens participated through the portal; (b) the steps taken to ensure inclusivity, accessibility and awareness of the scheme across rural areas, smaller institutions and diverse social groups; (c) whether Government proposes to further strengthen the scheme through curriculum integration, capacity building or digital innovations; and (d) if so, the details thereof? 1ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND BROADCASTING; AND THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF PARLIAMENTARY AFFAIRS (DR. MURUGAN) (a) & (b) To expand the Youth Parliament Programme and to ensure wider participation of students, including from remote and rural areas, the Ministry has unveiled an upgraded version of the National Youth Parliament Scheme (NYPS) web portal, known as NYPS 2.0. Unlike the previous version, which was limited to students of recognized educational institutions only, NYPS 2.0 is open to all the educational institutions, groups and even individual citizens across the country regardless of, gender, caste, creed, religion, race, region, place etc. The details of participation and the conduct of the youth parliament session are as follows- Sl. (c) & (d) Presently, no such proposal is under consideration of the Ministry. ***** 2
