Will the Minister of RAILWAYS be pleased to state:
(a) the details of current status of the work of Reconnaissance
Engineering cum Traffic Survey for new line between NK
(Nashik)-Shirdi via Sinnar (72 km) and the timelines fixed for
completion/getting final report;
(b) the details of current status of work of Final Location Survey for
New BG Line from Nashik-Shirdi via Sinnar (82.81 kms) and
timelines fixed for completion/getting final report;
(c) the details of timeline for sanctioning of funds and start of
actual work on the said project; and
(d) the current status of the works of provision of two stabling lines
in Down direction at NK station, provision of enroute coach
watering of nominated trains at NK and provision of 12 m wide
new Foot Over Bridge at NK?

After preparation of DPR, sanctioning of project requires consultation
with various stake-holders including State Governments and necessary
approvals viz. appraisal of NITI Aayog, Ministry of Finance etc. As
sanctioning of projects is a continuous and dynamic process, exact
timelines cannot be fixed.
The work for provision of 2 stabling lines in down direction at Nashik
Road has been sanctioned. Track laying work of stabling line No.1 is
completed and work for stabling line No.2 has been taken up.
Nashik Road railway station falling in Maharashtra has been identified
for redevelopment under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
At Nashik Road Railway station, work for provision of new 12m wide
foot over bridge, provision of enroute coach watering on requirement
basis, the work for provision of Mela Tower Control Center, Circulating
Area Development, Boundary Wall, platform Surfacing, the work of
improvement of 16 toilet blocks, provision of divyangjan toilets,
signages, provision of furniture, construction of 6m wide foot over
bridge, construction of east side new building, development of
circulating area and parking has been sanctioned and work awarded.
Further, the work for provision of RCC overhead tank, underground tank,

The Amrit Bharat Station scheme envisages development of stations on
a continuous basis with a long-term approach. The scheme involves
preparation of master plans and their implementation in phases to
improve the stations. The master planning, keeping in view the
necessity at each station, includes:-
Improvement of access to station and circulating areas
Integration of station with both sides of city
Improvement of station building
Improvement of waiting halls, toilets, sitting arrangement, water
booths
Provision of wider foot over bridge/air concourse commensurate
with passenger traffic
Provision of lift/escalators/ramp
Improvement/Provision of platform surface and cover over platforms

Provision of executive lounges, nominated spaces for business
