Shri Damodar Agrawal: Dr. Manna Lal Rawat: Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government proposes to introduce a new sports policy for the development of sports and sportspersons in the country; (b) if so, the details thereof; (c) the timeline set by the Government for implementation of the said policy; (d) the sports likely to be prioritized by the Government under the proposed policy; (e) whether the Government has received suggestions to specially promote Lacrosse sport; and (f) if so, the details thereof ANSWER THE MINISTER OF YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS (DR. MANSUKH MANDAVIYA) (a) & (b): Yes, Sir. The Government has introduced a new sports policy titled “Khelo Bharat Niti-2025” on 01.07.2025 for promotion and development of sports and sportspersons across the country.
