PENDENCY AND VACANCIES IN THE ARMED FORCES TRIBUNAL (AFT)
1032. SHRI ASADUDDIN OWAISI:
Will the Minister of DEFENCE be pleased to state:
(a) whether it is a fact that more than 35,000 cases are pending before the Armed Forces Tribunal
(AFT);
(b) if so, the details thereof, along with the number of cases pending before the principal and
regional benches of the AFT;
(c) the duration of pendency of such cases; and
(d) the current strength and vacancies of members and staff in the principal and regional benches
of the AFT?
