Malvika Devi: Shri Madhavaneni Raghunandan Rao: Shri Devusinh Chauhan: Shri Rajiv Pratap Rudy: Shri Naba Charan Majhi: Will the Minister of CORPORATE AFFAIRS be pleased to state:(a) the role of the MY Bharat platform in mobilising and facilitating youth participation in the Prime Minister Internship Scheme, in collaboration with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs Nabarangpur and Malkangiri districts in Nabarangpur Parliamentary Constituency in Odisha; (b) the number of youth have been mobilised or have registered for PMIS internship opportunities through the MY Bharat platform and the State/UT-wise break-up thereof including Madhya Pradesh, Jalgaon Parliamentary Constituency in Maharashtra, Shimla Parliamentary Constituency in Himachal Pradesh, Bhilwara Parliamentary Constituency in Rajasthan; (c) the details of PMIS outreach camps and on-ground facilitation drives that have been organised by MY Bharat across the country particularly in Andhra Pradesh, Nabarangpur and Malkangiri districts in Odisha, Jalgaon Parliamentary Constituency in Maharashtra, Shimla Parliamentary Constituency in Himachal Pradesh, Kutch Parliamentary Constituency in Gujarat and the participation in these camps; (d) whether the Government has any special plan to strengthen PMIS outreach in Andhra Pradesh and Nabarangpur Parliamentary Constituency, particularly in the tribal districts of Nabarangpur and Malkangiri in Odisha, Jalgaon Parliamentary Constituency in Maharashtra; (e) whether the Government is considering to organise special awareness campaigns or facilitation camps or registration drives at grassroot level through the MY Bharat platform to make rural and tribal youth from Chhindwara district in Madhya Pradesh employable in the corporate sector; and (f) the manner in which this collaboration advance the vision of a Skilled and Employable Bharat and the larger goal of Viksit Bharat @2047? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE OF THE MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS AND MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS [SHRI HARSH MALHOTRA] (a): MY Bharat portal enables Ministries, Departments, organizations and institutions to onboard and host their programmes. PMIS has collaborated with MY Bharat to increase youth participation in internship opportunities posted under PMIS, across the country. MY Bharat leverages its extensive youth network and digital engagement platform to create awareness aboutPMIS and encourages the youth to apply for internships offered by partner companies. The collaboration focuses on grassroots outreach, organizing awareness and internship camps, and connecting aspiring candidates directly with participating companies for internship opportunities. The PM Internship scheme is being implemented as a national level scheme in which internship opportunities are posted across districts/cities in all States/UTs. The parliamentary constituency-wise data of the same is not maintained. (b): As per the information provided by MY Bharat as on 16.07.2026, about 98000 youth have been mobilized across the country out of which 8428 candidates have applied for internship on the PMIS portal. The State/UT-wise breakup of youth who have applied for internsip including the states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan is placed as Annexure. As mentioned in reply to part (a) above, parliamentary constituency-wise data of the scheme is not maintained. (c): As on 16.07.2026, in partnership with MY Bharat, the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) has organized three outreach and internship camps to connect youth with internship opportunities offered by partner companies and organizations. These camps enabled direct engagement between candidates and companies, helping the youth learn about available roles, understand industry expectations, and complete application formalities. Dantewada (Chhattisgarh) 800+ So far, PMIS outreach camps have not been organised in Andhra Pradesh, Nabarangpur and Malkangiri districts in Odisha, Jalgaon district in Maharashtra, Shimla in Himachal Pradesh and Kutch district in Gujarat. (d): MCA has been actively collaborated with State Governments of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Odisha to carry out Information, Education andCommunication activities, including workshops, seminars, and promotional campaigns - both online and on-ground to amplify program visibility and to reach out to the target groups in various districts of the States. With active support from states, awareness campaigns were carried out at educational institutions such as ITIs, colleges etc. (e): As on date, such a camp in Chhindwara district in Madhya Pradesh has not been planned. (f): The collaboration between PMIS and My Bharat aims to enhance awareness among the youth regarding internship opportunities, facilitate their engagement with representatives of participating companies, and support them in completing the application process. Accordingly, the collaboration is expected to enable a larger number of youth to apply for and participate in internship opportunities offered under the PMIS. The initiative is also expected to contribute towards the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 by enhancing the employability of youth and expanding access to industry exposure through structured internship opportunities. ******Annexure Annexure to Lok Sabha Unstarred Q No. 229 part (b) to be answered on 20.07.2026.
