GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF CULTURE RAJYA SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 3073 ANSWERED ON 19.03.2026 PROJECTS UNDER NCF 3073. SHRI SANA SATHISH BABU: Will the Minister of CULTURE be pleased to state: (a) the number of heritage preservation and conservation projects supported through the National Culture Fund (NCF) since 2021, State-wise and project-wise especially from Andhra Pradesh; (b) the details of donors contributing to NCF during that period—corporates, PSUs, NGOs, trusts and individuals—and the total funds received from each category, year-wise; (c) the number of projects proposed by donors specifying locations in Andhra Pradesh, aspect and implementing agency, along with their current status; (d) the number of meetings held by the Project Implementation Committee for monitoring PPP-mode projects and outcomes thereof; and (e) whether any assessment exists on timeline? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF CULTURE AND TOURISM (SHRI GAJENDRA SINGH SHEKHAWAT) (a) to (c) The number of heritage preservation and conservation projects supported through the National Culture Fund (NCF) since 2021, State-wise are given in Annexure-I. No project from Andhra Pradesh has been supported under NCF during this period. The year-wise details of funds received from each category – corporate, PSUs, NGOs trusts and individuals are given in Annexure-II. (d) & (e) The implementation and progress of projects supported under the National Culture Fund (NCF) are monitored through meetings of the Project Implementation Committee (PIC), which are held periodically to review the status of projects undertaken under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. The timelines for implementation of projects are generally specified in the Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed with the donors and implementing agencies. The PIC reviews the physical and financial progress of projects, addresses implementation-related issues and provides necessary guidance to the implementing agencies to facilitate their timely completion.Annexure-I Annexure referred in part (a) to (c) of Rajya Sabha Unstarred Q.No. 3073 for Reply on 19.03.2026 regarding Projects under NCF.
