Will the minister of new and renewable energy be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has data regarding total number of projects sanctioned and
completed under Pradhan Mantri-Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-
KUSUM) in the country including Maharashtra and if so, the details thereof;
(b) the total number of farmers who have received benefits under PM-KUSUM in Gadchiroli-
Chimur Lok Sabha constituency; and
(c) the steps taken by the Government to ensure that cent percent coverage of PM-KUSUM is
ensured for Gadchiroli Lok Sabha constituency?

(a) Yes, The State/UT wise progress under PM KUSUM, including State of Maharashtra, is
placed at Annexure-I.
(b) The State Implementing Agencies (SIA) in Maharashtra have reported an installation of
1,951 solar pumps, which have benefited the farmers in Gadchiroli-Chimur Lok Sabha
constituency under Component B of PM KUSUM scheme till date.
(c) To increase the reach of PM KUSUM scheme, extensive outreach and capacity-building
workshops are conducted by the Ministry from time to time. This also includes periodic review
and handholding meetings with the implementing states.
SIAs have reported to carry out various outreach programs in Gadchiroli Lok Sabha
constituency which includes Campaigns by MEDA division office, Nagpur, distribution of
pamphlets among farmers informing benefits of the Scheme, leveraging the local agricultural
associations, amongst others.
