SHRI ANIL YESHWANT DESAI: Will the Minister of DEFENCE be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government has launched any scheme or initiative to introduce domestic and foreign tourists to major historical battlefields mentioned in our history books; (b) if so, the details thereof; (c) whether places such as Kurukshetra, Haldi Ghati, Plassey, Panipat and other significant historical battlefields are proposed to be included under any such initiative; and (d) if so, the details thereof along with the steps taken by the Government to popularise such schemes among local and foreign tourists?
