(a) and (b) The radiotherapy facilities for cancer treatment are available insix Government Medical
Collegesinthe State of Rajasthan. The detailsare at Annexure.
Under Strengthening of Tertiary Care Schemes of National Program for Prevention and Control of
Non-Communicable Disease (NP-NCD), State Cancer Institute (SCI) have been approved in Sawai
Man Singh Medical College (SMSMC), Jaipur and Tertiary Care Cancer Centre (TCCC) at Jhalawar
Medical College, district Jhalawar, and Acharya Tulsi Regional Cancer Treatment & Research
Institute at S.PMedical College, Bikanertoprovide cancertreatmentincluding radiotherapyservices.
Following the announcement in Union Budget 2025-26, so far, 297 new Day Care Cancer Centres
(DCCCs) have beenapprovedfor the financial year2025-26. These centresaimto provide follow-up
chemotherapy for patients referred by tertiary care centres. As part of this initiative, the
establishment of DCCCs has been approved in eight districts of Rajasthan namely Kotputli-Behror,
Deedwana-Kuchaman,Khairthal-Tijara, Balotra, Beawar,Deeg, Phalodiand Salumber.
(c) and (d) The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has initiated the process of rolling out of
capacity building exercises of the front-line workers and IEC activities for States/UTs in respect of
