Will the Minister of EDUCATION be pleased to state:
(a) whether the tuition fees in various private universities across the country is being hiked
exorbitantly;
(b) if so, the details of fees increased by the private universities in the last three years, State-wise
and university-wise;
(c) whether the Government has issued any guidelines or established any regulatory mechanism to
regulate/control fixation and increase of fees in private universities;
(d) if so, the silent features thereof; and
(e) if not, the steps proposed to be taken by the Government in this regard?
