SAGARIKA GHOSE: Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) the year-wise details since 2020 onwards of construction-related fatalities from unbarricaded sites/waterlogging; (b) the year-wise number of cases filed and prosecutions held against builders, developers, site supervisors and the Central/State authorities for violations since then; (c) the year-wise conviction rates in such cases; (d) the year-wise fines imposed; and (e) the pending cases before Building Welfare Boards State-wise? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS (SHRI TOKHAN SAHU) (a): No construction-related fatalities from unbarricaded sites/waterlogging has been reported in CPWD and NBCC since 2020.
