SHRI BRIJENDRA SINGH OLA: Will the Minister of CULTURE be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government appoints persons belonging to the Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes categories in various bodies such as Attached Offices, Subordinate Offices, Deemed Universities, Central Institutes, Autonomous Bodies, Museums, Zonal Cultural Centres, Libraries etc. under the Ministry of Culture; (b) if so, the details thereof, year, category and institution-wise during the last three years and the current year; (c) the details of the number of employees of the above categories who are employed in senior positions like Director, Professor, General Manager, Deputy Director, etc., institution-wise; and (d) the details of the measures taken/ being taken by the Government to increase opportunities for training and representation of the above categories of employees? Government of India issues instructions, from time to time, regarding representation, promotion and training of employees including reserved categories’ employees.As per the reservation policy of the Government of India, reservation in services is applicable up to the lowest rung of Group A posts. Reservation is not applicable for promotion from Group A posts to Group A posts.
