seeds, labourwages, pesticides, and fertilizers, which significantly reduce their income;
(b) if so, the steps being taken to address this issue and to double farmers' income;
(c) whether the Government propose to recognize and implement the 3BP for BP to
double the farmers' income; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d): In order to help the farmers facing rising input costs related to seeds,
labourwages, pesticides, and fertilizers, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare is
implementing various central sector and centrally sponsored schemes, which are annexed.
The Government has substantially enhanced the budget allocation of Department of
Agriculture & Farmers Welfare (DA&FW) from Rs. 21,933.50 crore BE during 2013-14 to
Rs. 1,27,290.16 crore BE during 2025-26.
Ministry has identified following integrated strategy for enhancing the farmers income
and comprehensive growth of agriculture sector:
(i) Increase crop production/ productivity
(ii) Reduce cost of production
(iii) Better price realization of farmers’ produce to enhance their incomes.
(iv) Agricultural diversification
(v) Developing post harvest value addition
(vi) Adaptation to climate change for sustainable agriculture and mitigate against
crop lossesGovernment fixes Minimum Support Prices (MSPs) for mandated crops based on the
recommendations of the Commission for Agricultural Costs & Prices (CACP) after
considering the views of concerned State Governments and Central Ministries/
Departments. The Union Budget for 2018-19 had announced to keep MSPs at levels of one
and half times of the cost of production. Accordingly, Government had consistently
increased MSPs for all mandated Kharif, Rabi and other Commercial crops with a minimum
margin of 50 percent over all India weighted average cost of production from the year 2018-
