Schools Approved under PM-SHRI Scheme in Telangana
5961. Smt. D K Aruna:
Will the Minister of EDUCATION be pleased to state:
(a) whether it is a fact that 832 schools have been approved under PM Schools for Rising India
(PM SHRI) scheme in the State of Telangana;
(b) if so, the district-wise details thereof; and
(c) the details of the quantum of funds sanctioned/released and unspent during the last five years
and the current year?

(a) & (b): Under PM SHRI scheme, a total of 832 PM SHRI schools including 38 Central
Government schools (29 Kendriya Vidyalayas and 9 Navodaya Vidyalayas) have been selected
till 25.03.2026 from the State of Telangana. The number of State government PM SHRI schools
selected in the State of Telangana, district -wise is attached as Annexure. The details of PM SHRI
schools may be accessed on the website of PM SHRI scheme at the link:
https://pmshri.education.gov.in/state.
(c): The PM SHRI scheme was approved on 7th September, 2022 and for the State of
Telangana, the release of funds started in FY 2023-24. The details of funds allocated, released and
utilized by the State of Telangana under the PM SHRI scheme is as follows:
