ANSWER THEMINISTEROFSTATEINTHEMINISTRYOFHEALTHANDFAMILYWELFARE (SHRIPRATAPRAO JADHAV) (a) and (b) Under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), till date establishment of 22 All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS) has been approved in various States/UTs in the country including one AIIMS at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, which is functional. In the current phase of PMSSY, there isno proposal for establishment of a newAIIMSinUjjain. (c)and(d) Under Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP), as on date, 26 Jan Aushadhi Kendras have been opened in the Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh. Almost all of thegeneric medicines included in National List of Essential Medicines (NLEM) are included in the basket of PMBJPmedicinesexceptlabreagents andvaccines. (e) Public Health and Hospitals is a State Subject and the responsibility of provisioning of healthcare professionals lies with respective State/UT Governments. However, under the National Health Mission (NHM), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India provides financial and technical support to the States/UTs to strengthen their healthcare systems based on the Programme Implementation Plans (PIPs) submitted by the States/UTs within their overallresource envelope. (f) As on 30.06.2025, in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh, 11.54 lakhs Ayushman Cards have been created and 19 hospitals have been empanelled under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY). ***
